Description
A modern take on a classic Courthouse Steps block, thoughtfully composed with light sashing and a bold Irish chain fabric. An Irish Chain uses repeating squares that creates a chain-like lattice across the quilt. Fat quarter friendly or use whatever scraps you have around. Quilt size shown is queen size 76″ x 91″. The pattern includes multiple size options.
Fabric Requirements (Queen Size Quilt)
- Various Fat Quarter (FQ), prints or scraps, one per block for variety. If you don’t want repeats you will need one FQ for each block.
- 1 ¾ yards Irish Chain fabric
- 1 ½ yards sashing fabric
- ⅔ yard binding fabric
- 6 yards backing fabric
